Bamboo was used to make Bhutan. It is a stable, strong material that is especially convincing because it grows quickly and produces a lot of oxygen. The flexible nature of the two lampshades of the pendant lamp can be woven by hand. The result is an attractive pattern that creates an atmospheric light pattern as soon as the light from inside enters the room. The shadows are applied in two layers.
While the inner lampshade is narrow and tall and made of bamboo in a purely natural colour, the top lampshade is wide and short and also made of black bamboo, which gives the lamp its special character.
