The “Muro” modular sofa, designed by Nicolás Cervio, is a new addition to the nobonobo brand. Inspired by the design of the 1950s and 1970s, it combines the spirit of classic modernism with the bold, organic design characteristic of the second half of the 20th century. Its soft, rounded forms and deep stitching evoke iconic designs of the 1970s, where comfort and the expressiveness of materials played a central role. Low proportions, wide armrests, and a distinct, sculptural silhouette make this piece a focal point of any interior. This large-format modular sofa embodies a subtle, modern spirit, resting on a base that lifts it above the floor and creates fluid forms that seem to capture movement. Like an architectural gesture, the piece fills the space, inviting the user to seamlessly integrate it into their daily lives. These thoughtful design decisions create sophisticated structures that imbue a sense of continuity and movement. The result is a visual dynamic inspired by the expressive brushstrokes and architectural language of Erich Mendelsohn.
